Q: How long will it take to receive a confirmation of my reservation?
You will receive it within 24 hours of booking. Please check your email Spam folder if you do not receive the confirmation within this time.
Q: What are the Check-In and Check-Out times?
Check-in is at 2 p.m. and Check-out is at 12 p.m. Please let us know if you need to check in earlier or check out later and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Q: How do I get to Monteverde?
No matter where you are coming from in Costa Rica, there are several options. You can rent a car and drive, hop a public bus, or get a shared or private shuttle. We suggest the shared or private shuttles as they are the most reliable and safest. Please contact us with your travel dates and departure area and we will book transportation for you. If you prefer to drive, rest assured that Monteverde is easily accessible to car. Once we receive your reservation we will send you detailed directions to our place.
Costa Rica has two international airports: Juan Santamaría in San José and Daniel Obduber in Liberia in the province of Guanacaste.
Q: What amenities does Alquimia Artes offer?
We offer a complimentary homemade breakfast, hot showers, free Wi-Fi, free tour booking, and free parking.
Q: Do you offer accommodation for the physically challenged?
We have just completed our handicapped access ramp (see our Projects Page) and are currently completing construction of a double occupancy handicap accessible room downstairs. This room should be complete and ready to reserve by the end of March 2015.

Q: If I change my reservation, will my rate change?
There is the possibility. If you change the date of arrival then you may be working with a new set of rates. If you increase the number of people in a room, you will pay the additional person charge above the original rate. Also if you upgrade your room type the rate will change.
