Current Projects
Casa Alquimia Artes opened in the beginning of the 2014 and has since welcomed guests from all over the world. Though this has been a successful start, there are still improvements to be made. Our original five guest rooms are complete and operational but we have some construction to do on the ground floor and in the basement. At this time, February 2015, we are finishing up the final touches on our new handicapped access ramp and room. Our future plans include the construction of a new space in which we will open the Alquimia Artes Gallery.
As art is not just our profession but also our passion, we would love to share our knowledge. This is why we also plan to offer to offer workshops to travelers in a variety of arts such as fine jewelry, ceramics, and painting. As most travelers do not have a lot of time, the timeframe of the courses will be flexible. It is our aim that all participants will be able to create their own small pieces of art to take home.

Here is a video from last year outlining some of our goals. We have since nearly completed the handicap access ramp and room and our main entrance has been moved allowing for easy access to all of our rooms.

How You Can Contribute
To achieve our goals and complete the construction projects, we need man power, material, time, and, of course, money. Any donation of time or money helps us to reach our goals.
If you are interested in participating in the project as a volunteer, do not hesitate to contact us! We frequently host volunteers and appreciate the cultural exchange as well as working together with people from around the world to make our hostel better and better.
